Because you want to work with exceptionally talented people.
Because you’re driven to create something ground-breaking.
And because you understand that your best work only comes out when you’re having fun.
It’s that simple.
We offer some of the best benefits and perks in the industry. Our industry competitive salaries are reviewed annually to ensure you stay happy, motivated, and are rewarded for your hard work. We are also proud of our comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage for you and your family, including luxuries like massage therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic care.
Other companies talk about work/life balance, but we actually do it. We offer flexible hours, generous vacation allowances, and Microsoft Clubs sponsorship to encourage social clubs (Hint: There's a wine club, an ice hockey team, and a Magic club!).
Other perks and benefits include an annual performance bonus plan, an annual Healthy Living Benefit allowance, a company RRSP matching plan, employee stock purchase plan, referral bonuses, and access to the Microsoft company store with great employee discounts.
Yes, we offer co-op placements! We are proud to work closely with a number of Canadian higher education institutions to source the best new talent that we can find. We offer 4 or 8 month co-op placements for Software Development Engineers, Artists, and Designers.
We strongly believe in providing our co-ops with real opportunities to make a difference in their careers. Black Tusk co-ops will get their hands dirty in a real development studio, working together with our teams and be directly involved with the projects.
We regularly post our co-op positions, so please check with your co-op coordinator at your school for more information.
So how do you apply? Follow the steps below. For art-related positions, we prefer online applications that include online portfolios/demos. This allows us to distribute your information to our hiring teams quickly and enables our team to access your information immediately. Please ensure that your portfolio is current, displays your original work samples and includes a breakdown of what you did on each shot. For all other positions, simply submit your resume and cover letter using the links below.
If you are interested in applying, apply directly through the Careers site in Step #1 with your applicable information. We also encourage our employees to refer talent, so if you already know someone that works here, reach out to them and let them know you are interested!
If we are interested in interviewing you, we will contact you via the contact information you submitted with your application. Please note that due to the number of applications we receive, we only contact applicants that are shortlisted for interviews.
Thank you, and good luck!
